For those who don't know me, my fiance and I met here. He lives in Australia. I live in Michigan. We plan to be married on New Year's Eve.
We just got word this morning that my Australian Prospective Spouse Visa has been granted! This means that I can move to Australia so we can get married and live there together! I woke him up in the middle of the night to tell him.
We are soooooooooo excited!!!! :)

BlueGirl - Congrats!! The visa process can be long and draining so I am glad yours has been granted. My husband is from England and we went through the whole visa thing and it has been well worth it and I know it will be for you too!

I remember that poem well - A long time ago in a hidden Welsh forest, mired in mists and magic of old, Faeries and sprites do solemnly chorus the tale of a wise insightful old soul... you gave me back a sense of creativity I thought I'd lost long ago and I'm indebted to you for that. Your friendship was very healing for me. Thank you.

Well now that you are going to be an Aussie you will have to learn some of the customs here.
1. Learn how to say G'Day 2. Learn how to become invisible when any sport action is on TV 3. Know the quickest way to the fridge to bring back that cold beer 4. Know that the only way to deliver a beer is when one is naked
Well that should cover it, and Peter can thank me later :)

Hee hee, I imagine the poor fella must have gone through every emotion at being woken in the middle of the night .... blind panic, confusion, disbelief and sheer delight!
