I say courtship and immediately some type of victorian image comes to my mind.? Courtship was for my parents and grand-parents, who spent months on walks and bicycle rides before they could hold hands, shared no more then a kiss before their wedding but who knew each other pretty well because they weren't allowed to do much more then just talking to one another.

?

How do you view courtship these days.? Does it still has its place??? What are the gestures of courtship in the 21st century??? How are men and women courting one another???

I beleive courtship is a dying art because of societys festering heap of moral values.I hope to stay the trend¿ with what ever special lady that enters my life( I just wish she hurry up and find me!)¿ I feel now days society¿ has put the value of finding out¿ what makes the other person tick¿ low on the priorities¿list .It is all about "INSTANT gratifacation ."¿Few now take the time to¿ really know a person before the have "biblical relations"¿¿ with their partner. Every one is in a rush to skip to "dessert but no one wants to make it . A¿ quality ¿relationship¿ like a good wine¿ takes time. The¿ good relationship is ¿like an¿ older wine . If the wine¿ is more mature the better you can detect the sultle nuances in it. By¿ taking longer to know your partner¿ one can¿ hopefully¿ negate or minamize the¿¿ damage by not¿picking the right partner. It¿is less costly to¿ walk away from the relationship , than it is to¿ get a Divorce and have to make you break after getting¿ so intertwined¿ that¿¿ every one gets hurt.¿ ¿¿¿

Coolbigbob

I see what you are saying... and I happen to agree with it. But let's take it a step further. Would courtship be desirable. Would you rather take the time of discovery or keep on going for sex on the first or second date??

Oh... gives me an idea for another blog!!! LOL
