How do you set yourself apart from other people writing.? What's your pick up line when contacting someone??

?

Usually I will try to find something in the profile that calls to me and elaborate on it.? But it's kind of stuffy.? Any good kind of humourous line you could offer to break the ice?

Truefriendinme

¿

YOU ARE more brutally honest then I am... I'm... I'm... speechless!!!

¿

I have to say that if a guy comes up to me and says you're pretty you know, all my suspicious bells and whistles will start screaming in my head. ¿To me that's a line that he wants me in bed before the night is over.

¿

Like you I abhore vulgarity and innuendos, but I love flirting. I'm the biggest flirt you can think of. So a well placed line usually work with me, one that shows finesse, style and humour. The best one I've had lately was¿at the theater. At the intermission, a guy came up to me and said: I thought it was just going to be another insipide show, nothing to write home about... you've just proved me wrong.

¿

It might sound over the top to you... but remember, the culture is different here. I wouldn't say it's usual, but not rare. I love that kind of line, it's a different more original approach... It makes me want to flirt with the guy and come up with a line just as well phrased. That kind of line doesn't come just like that... you have to put some thought into it and not sound too corny or cheezy... very hard to do and shows, for me, intelligence, confidence. Those are very attractive traits in a man... at least they are for me.

I have never "winked" at anyone first (I don't think I have, anyway...). I think that each person is apt to respond differently to any approach I might make, and I would tailor the approach to suit the person. I would never be the type to comment on the physical attributes as a first contact (or even second). I prefer to be seen for my intelect and personality, rather than my body; I expect a man to feel the same way. I think that in person, it's different. Were I to be in a bar or public setting, I might respond differently to a man saying something like, "you're very pretty, you know?". But, were he to make a leering, sidelong look or rude gestures or comments while saying that, I would let him enjoy my drink...on his lap. I don't respond well to ignorance or sexual innuendos--I never have. I find them demeaning and rude. I prefer someone to walk right up to me, introduce themselves and dive right into converstaion. I suspect each encounter is different, and maybe one day I will meet the man that can be blatant and aggressive with me--but I doubt it. Good luck to all--True
