i remember an old one where a hermaphrodite was called a male at birth but was able to get pregnant-- still not having her claims of feeling a woman taken seriously legally--- a sad story...

I just wonder how much The Enquirer and their ilk have offered for 'his' story post partum. Hope it is enough to pay for their child's future education (and therapy) needs.

All joking aside, my biggest concern is for the poor kid when it is born.
I'm not questioning that the "parents" will love and care for her, but how are they going to avoid having cameras following her around from the moment she's born? She's done nothing to deserve the attention she'll get; I hope she's a tough cookie!

My opinion seems to be that of the majority here. "He" technically is not a "he". He only CHOOSES to be called a male, while still biologically, he is a she. I think calling the vessel a male (while still technically a female) gets better ratings. Which is why he wound up on Oprah, (first and before any other show or newsworthy station) and not on a traditional show. I have an extra tid bit to add, here: It comes as no surprise the subliminal message here. Well, to me it doesn't. Oprah supports XX candidate in the presidential campaign. XX candidate needs to get the majority of gay/lesbian voters. Hence, this ploy at planting the seed. Acceptance by association. I don't like the message it sends; it's only a ploy to get votes.

This "guy" is still a female. It still has its female organs and wanted to keep its female organs so it could have a child down the road, this was the plan. He insisted on having the breast removed and start hormones so it would get some male features even though a child was in the future. Technically its a woman. He can call himself a he all he wants, but its a she so a manly woman is having a baby. I'm not impressed either. I just do not understand how he can have male status legally if he still has his female organs. Its like batting for home and visitor teams in the same game. I have nothing against this person choosing to have a sex change but either your one or the other. You know?

I don't know what the big deal is, there was no complete sex change or else this couldn't happen. When it all boils down this "guy" still is XX like all the other females on the planet Earth. Just because you cut off your breast and grown facial hair it doesn't make you a man. With the steriods I had to take for my ankle I could have had just as much facial hair. I'm not impressed.
Note: I never let the hair grow...I love Facial Wax...LOL

Okay, first this "man" was born a women, was a teen beauty queen, he is transgender but he opted to keep his reproductive parts. He's legally a man now, married and she insemintated him with a baster with sperm. ( I don't remember where they said they obtained the sperm)
Is this "guy" a gal? yes, biologically he is she with she reproductive parts.

Had heard something about this in passing. Have not read anything as of yet, however as I have an opinion about everything here goes. First that the world is getting stranger and stranger. Second, that he is not a biological male, so unless he plans on delivering that baby through the newly formed .......in my book it doesn't count.
