What are your plans?
My family is usually gone so I kind of do untraditional things. This year a friend and I are going to the movies and going out for dinner. Sometimes I will rent movies and order pizza, a few times I have caught a hockey game and went to dinner out but mostly it is a day to put up Christmas decorations and relax and get ready for the big shopping day on Friday.

I'll be home this year....I opted out of work this year (and am losing about $200 wot am i nuts or something?? lol)and if my daughter begs to cook dinner in spite of me being home to cook it, I think I will cede to youth and let her...she's done a grand job of it in the other years when I was working but I could do without the 50 or so calls to assure her she was doing things right

We always do T-day at home. This year it will be only 3 of us!!! We are all looking forward to having lots of leftovers!! LOL. My oldest two that live in town will probably stop by but other than that, it will be quiet.

i'm cooking the majority of the meal and having my family over. it's now 6:50 p.m. and i've been on my feet since 9:00 a.m.. a thunder storm just came through a couple of hours ago and the temp. is suppose to go down low on tomorrow. well, low here in texas (mid 50's). i took me a little break to wish everyone here a safe and happy thanksgiving. i'm bushed, my back's tired, and my feet ache, but being with your family, making sure everything goes as planned is worth all of it. happy thanksgiving y'all!!!

I spend the Holidays alone, but I still make my traditional Thanksgiving dinner, I just look for the smallest turkey I can find. This year should be fun with the 2 new kittens. They go crazy whenever they see me getting near the kitchen. I have to be very careful since the little guy is a thief. LMAO I can see him now trying to carry the bird off to his hiding place :(
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!

My 21 year old daughter (my baby) moved out into her own apartment in July. And SHE wanted to cook and host dinner this year, so THAT'S where I'll be, but my kids and I also have a fairly long-standing tradition of going to see a movie on Thanksgiving so we may do that as well.
