as much I love the basic tenet of the holiday season, both Chanukkah and Christmas and ok, the new kid on the block, Kwanzaa as well I still find it perturbing, distressing, aggravating how commercial we still make it. My youngest just turned 20 so throwing money around is my line of least resistance..no more staying up to 4am wrapping gifts, being sneaky and creative wrapping things for my wife, may she rest in peace, I miss all of that but am glad to have gotten to a point to duck the commercialism..I should get the traditional goose and finish alienating everyone to boot lol. Merry Christmas, Chanukkah/Hannuka and Kwanzaa to one and all :>)

This has never been a favorite holiday of mine, usually cause I have this unfortunate run of bad luck that always seem to run around the holidays

Thanks for the holiday wishes Bizzle! You can always buy a goat,or some chickens,or a foot peddled water pump for a family in a third world country instead of a "commercial" gift for a family member while teaching them about giving to others. World Vision and the Heifer Project both have some interesting gift catalogs online. Merry Christmas to you Bizzle! May your holidays be filled with lots of joy and love!
