This is one for all; do you prefer to be referred to as Sexy or Beautiful/Handsome? Which does your ego prefer? E.g. If you are approached in a bar and someone says "Hi Sexy" would you be turned off? Or would you prefer it if they said "you are beautiful / handsome?"

How about a simple "Hello". It sounds too phony and too much of a come-on to say "Heh beautiful" or "Heh, Sexy" as an opening line to someone you just met. It might turn the other person off. To say those things to someone you know intimately or for a long time is another matter. To me, a woman is considered beautiful; a man is handsome. Sexy is a term that is used to spark an emotion or emotions. Of course all three are in the eye of the beholder.

I guess that it depends on how it's said and who says it. Either one said by the wrong person in the wrong way, makes my flesh crawl. Either one said in the right way, by the right person, makes my heart melt.

Upon first meeting a guy I would like to be called beautiful. But once I get to know him I like to be called sexy. I also like the term gorgeous.

Beautiful...it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.......it also leaves some mystery to the encounter, where as Hi Sexy is right out there. But, some might prefer that

Beautiful. I don't know, it'd just sound more sincere to my ears than "heya sexy".

I'm not so keen on "Hi Sexy" either. You see the problem with "Sexy" for me is that the word by its very definition provokes or is intended to provoke sexual interest. Lately its definition has been expanded to include interesting, exciting or trendy. In the UK we here about political documents being "sexed up". Whereas beautiful I agree Kissy is more than about sexual interest...the person possesses beauty, whether physical or inner most often used in the context of someone being aesthetically pleasing. Handsome is mostly used to refer to men, as good-looking having regular pleasing and well defined features (like G_G's biceps....) but in the WestCountry in England "handsome" is used in relation to women fine looking in a dignified way. The guy in my best date ever blog used to refer to me as "Me Handsome".

I would perfer for a guy to see me as beautiful. Don't get me wrong i love to be sexy :) I just think beautiful is a fuller adjective. Because I cannot see someone saying to me I think your personality is sexy, or I think your intellect is sexy you know? E.g if someone came up to me and said "hey sexy" I would say: "Do I know you?" LOL Kissy
