As some of you know I have in the past had a problem with weight. So to help me eat healthier I planted a large garden. Help,Ive now got a slight problem. I need a few fresh ideas for fixing Spagattie squash ,Yellow Straightneck, Patty Pan, and Butternut Squash's. I also need something fresh and new for useing tomatoes. The tomato Varieties are Yellow Pear, Marcellino,Sweet Million, Creole , Brandywine , Cherokee Purple and Porters. Ive had a bumper crop this year and run out of ways to fix the Squash other than boiled, or grilled. One can only eat so many tomatoes sliced with a slpash of sea salt, and drizzle of Balsamic Vinegar.

Recently I replied to boakesmark2000 blog. In error by not having all the facts. I made a comment on his grammar and writing abilities.I was unaware that he has a disability. The comment on the gramatical correctness was made not knowing this. To him I aplogize. I during my collage years I saw a lot of poor grammar in papers . I am not claiming to be perfect. Since I was banned from posting on his blogs this is the only way to let him and others know that I was in error.I have removed the post since it was in error.

In a Hurry to die?

Is it me, or has any one else noticed that while you are driveing It seems everyone else is in a FREAKING rush to get some where FAST!I mean you doing 5 mph over the posted limit and Yet they pass you up like your riding a Turtle. Or they pass you and 5 other cars on a windy, hillyroad, a in a BLIND curve. Or the ever popular Driveing while talking on the phone , and shaveing. Or for the ladies, Putting on you Eye liner while driveing the speed limit(70) or the masterpeice . Steering with you knees , eating a burger , and reaching in the back seat to pick up some thing. Has any body else seen this type of behavior? Am I being an OLD fuddy Duddy? I have been told that I march to a differnt drummer. Hovever,I think I am NO Rush to meet my Maker.

Lap band updates and questions

Some of you have asked several questions about my lapband Surgury . All thought I am not a doctor, nor do I play one on Tv I will answer to the best of my ability. First let me preface that It is not the "Majic Cure " I veiw it as a small Part of a multi pronged approach to removing , and keeping off the excess weight. several of the Questions asked have been:"Like how long was the recovery?" Recovery from the surgurey in my case was overnight in the hospital to recover from the Anasthesia. After that I was in bed for a bout two days from being sore in the midsection. The only other minor complication was some drainage from two of the places the doctor had to cut to put the band in. Such a minor complicationt would be typical from having to cut throught over 8 inches of belly fat (in my case) to put it in. To answer "How are you feeling?", I feel great! To answer the question of "How much weight have you lost?" So far I have lost over 125 since having the surgury in June 2007. Any side effects? Yes but manageable a few minor is chopped lettuce Salads I have to be very careful. I have to take small bites and chew very carefully. one more is any meat that had gristle I have to trim out and avoid. If not take chance of blocking my port opening. On the question of "I've heard that there was a significant failure rate of the LB" As with any of the other bariatric procedures there are ways to self destruct and still gain. like eating high caloric foods, Fruit juices, milk and lots of processed sugar. As for the effectiveness of it Gastric Lap banding I think for me it was the best choice because I have a Ex Wife who had the Gastric bypass and she was not able to keep it off because of some side effects of mal asorbition and senativity to some foods and two additional pregnacies with her new boy toy .

Is it just me, or does any body else get frustrated at getting emails from people. Esp. when you click on the link on the E-mail from LF's you get thease response's A)The user has chosen to temporarily hide profile. B)The user's profile is temporarily unavailable. (e.g. the user may put his profile on hold) C)The user may now be a success story. D)The user's profile is pending for approval. E)The user has hidden profile from the same gender. F)The user's profile is visible to favorite members only. G)The user has blocked your profile. H)The user is in your blacklists. I)You have hidden the user from search results. Since H) and I) are not valid. G) is not likely since they e-mailed me. F)since I was emailed not likely. To me kind of makes my BS Radar go wacky and light up like a Christmas tree. Esp when you can't even see the profile to even see the info to try to decide if they are real or not. Just my .02 cnts.I would like to hear comments from anybody who feels the same way,or not.

Desolation

Some of you have asked fo me to write some poetry so here for you parusal is one tonight I quickly penned . As I stand alone on the plains of love which are desolate and barren from life's battle field. I await my fate. I have tried to follow the sirens sweet song of love. For many days I have traveled at times hearing its call as loud as thunder and at times soft as the call of the Nightingale.I can go no farther, lest I stumble and fall in to the great depths hidden by the inky blackness. Yet the Harpies of fate follow me to visit their worst on me if I do not. Try I must. The inky black darkness slowly encompasses me and all that I see me like a constrictor crushes its prey. I must go on yet doing so would seal my fate. I stand awaiting the new light and fresh hope to renew my journey. My journey is to find and answer the sirens beckoning call of love. Half seen horrid hideous things and yet unseen things in the dark seek to claw at me feverishly with their cold steely talcons. Their frantic actions are with with the sole purpose of wresting from my body all hope. The Banshee's foul winds of despair cry out in the night air. Her Mournful cry seeking to drown out and dash all hope of hearing the sirens sweet call of hope. And yet faintly over the banshee's horrid call, I can almost hear it now. She cries out in a sweet voice hold on my love for soon, we will be not separated by this vast wilderness. Soon we fill find a way out of this desolation.So that together we can fill our cups in the fountain of happiness and love and never grow thirsty. Hold on my love! Have faith soon the howling winds and the storms of despair shall lose their might and fade. Have faith soon the dawn shall come. Follow you hearts call soon you shall see the light to guide you to me. Soon the mournful cry of the loon shall be one of joy. Hearing this I walk on, As the veil is lifted from me by her voice. I now can clearly see! There is hope I must go on!!

Insensative ad from PETA

Well looks like large women are being attacked by yet a nother Insensative group that claims to be good for everyone. The group I speak of is PETA. PETA is running an ad campain in Florida with a slogan of "Save the whales Lose the blubber: go Vegetarian. The ad shows a beach with a BBW in a red with white polka dots Bikini from behind. Putting it politely she is drawn with extemely ample back jelly rolls and large wadles under her arms. To me this Offensive and insensative of this group. In their litaure they infer that obese people are this way Solely because of eating meat. Their litature also infers that obease people will Majically lose all their weight by going vegetarian. Hey Peta , if you are eating all this fiber why are you so full of it??? I didn't climb to the top of the food chain to become a Vegetarian!

"More To Love " show

Has any body seen the new Fox show "More To love"? I have to say I applaud them trying to be fair . However I feel the made several of the contestants last night look like Stark raving bundle of emotions.I hope the producers have counseling for the ladies that have got booted of. Because I feel the producers preyed upon the ladies insecurities for pure entertainment. Has any else seen the show and feel the same way? What do you think?

Things I can do a one year anniversary

In response to a request here is a few things I can do now. Go to the beach and NOT have Marine Mammal Rescue try to put me back in the water.Buckle a seatbelt with out holding my breath.See my feet with out,a digital camera,or sitting in a chair.Not having to go to "Omar's",the tentmakers store for my clothes.Being able to walk in to a clothing store and buy something off the rack easily.Sit in a chair, and get up with it NOT following me when I stand up.Walk in to a restraunt with Grand buffet and walk away full and satified with one trip to it. Walk down the candy isle and not buy any thing. Have a portrait taken and not have the photgapher have to use a Wide Angle Lens.Being able to walk a mile with out chuffing like A Steam engine. Being able to be relaxingly floating in a pool and not have the Medical Examiner try to put you in a Magnum zip lock baggie.

After seeing a recent post of some one whinieing about the Ladies here on this site not web camming and other posts from months ago previous.I have reveiwed several simmiular profiles here on this site to better understand the posters. In their profiles they are Stating what they wanted.HOWEVER they say they are Married yet they are looking for DATING,LONG-TERM / SERIOUS RELATIOSHIP, CASUAL AND INTIMATE .I may not be the most Intelligent person but is this not cheating? I mean, you may Call me a Little old fashioned. But does not this type of behavior by some here on this site seem that person who states that they are married are cheating?,Yet state are looking for DATING,LONG-TERM / SERIOUS RELATIOSHIP, CASUAL AND INTIMATE Are they not Cheating on their Spouse by doing so? Does not that Behavior not have possible serious and potentially Deadly side effects effects,as recent national news stories have shown. And yet they wonder Why they are treated like the peverbial "Baby Ruth" floating in the pool.I have to Say Personally,If you are Married and are so unhappy that you have to go outside your marriage for you supposed needs . Why not not get a divorce and not have to worry about getting caught cheating and avoid potential of needing plastic surgury or other operations to reattach body parts or plug up extra holes that you may get from your Spouse that you cheated on. Things I Miss A One Year Anniversary

For some of you who don't know know me,I'll explain a little over a year ago I had lap band surgury. I have lost over 100+ pounds Since then, I'de like to tell others a Few things that I Really miss when I was over 450 pounds.The warm fuzzy feeling you sometimes get when you sit down in a chair and you realize you are locked in by your thunder thighs. The fun feeling when you stand up and the chair follows you.The fun feeling as you bend over to pick up something and get a sudden breeze and realise that the trousers you HAD on have developed a "Split" personality. The Joy of having to shop for two weeks to find a belt that might fit around you waist,Even if only on the first notch. The joyful feeling of spending 10 to 15 dollars more for your clothes. Even if they last only half as long.The joys of All the "Wonderfully" in fashion fabrics that the clotheries dump on you just because you have to cover your body. The joy of having little kids run up to you and poke you in you belly and get mad because you dont giggle like the Pilsbury Doughboy. those are a just a few of wonderful the things I miss when I was Obese.

What's you comfort range?

A recent wink from someone got me to¿pondering what is my comfort range.As some of you know I am¿ in my late 40's (46 to be exact) .Well the other day I received a wink from a young lady¿ who who was barely 19.Hey, I have a daughter two years older than that.I've got clothes older than that also! How far is too much of an age spread¿difference? What is your comfort¿ level? For me¿ 10-15 years max either way¿ is what I had held so far. Am I being "old fashioned ? If I was to date a lady that young I'de fel like I was "robbing the cradle" or I am being¿¿ a fuddy duddy. Conversely If I was dating a lady that was¿ 20 older than me¿ some folks would feel I was seeing her for reasons other than love .Am I being a"Square"?

Lapband update #7

Several folks have asked for a Lap Band update so here it is.For those new to the site Ill give you a breif summary. In September 97 I lost my job I was at 450 in weight and miserable. After extreme soul searching I decided to take the time to get back to try to get the weight reduction surgury.I had tried twice several years before before once through the VA ( Total Pooch Party) and once though a major hospital that advertises weight reduction surgury here in my area lot. Both tries were a bust. So after serious thinking I finally went to another info session for the surgury after some disscusion was able to get the date for the consult . I was a mess,with me being almost 44, (at the time) 5'11 BMI over 62 a waist of 60+. weight over at 450 pounds . I could not walk a block before I was huffing and chuffing like a old wornout steam locomitive. I could not bend over to tie my shoes. I had no energy. I felt like the Stay Puff Marshmallow man. Now I am down to a size 54 waist , weight is down to 350 . I have alot more energy. I am now able to move a lot easier.(joints dont hurt as much ) Even getting a few cat calls from the ladies ( Thanks ladies my ego needed that!!!) My self immage has improved imensely (no pun intended). I can say the surgury was Not the Total answer. But a component of a multi layerd approach. By limiting the amout I can eat at one time. I am forced to make better food choices. Also I have to focus , and fix those past bad habbits that got me to this point.(myself I am a emotionial eater, and yes a sugar junkie, and was addicted to fried foods if you could fry it I did.) However those days are behind me( unless I fall of the wagon. ) Pray to god that I dont . I can say to those who are truely struggle with morbid obesity is you have to LOVE your self enough to change what is inside you. Change the self loathing of your body, to loving your body,and trhe person inside of you .But also making healthy choices to better support the new you you want to become. Hey It took many years of food abuse to get this way. So through years of hard work YOU CAN become the person inside and out you want to be!! I am not done on my journey to the perfection but . I have just begun. If I never start ,Will I be any closer in one year, or two , or three?

As some of you remember may remember September 2007 I lost my job. I have without a job since. Now It seems that Since I am a lefty , I tend to do every thing backward. So now while most companies are laying off I found a job this week that the possabilities of a lay off are very slim . So I guess 2009 will be a good year for me after all. Now that I have already fulfilled on of my goals for the new year. I just have 2 more to get Ready to take off my list. One of them I know I'll will already meet soon . Lose more weight. But the one I hope really hope that I hope I get to remove Is to find A woman partner. Possiblly get to know really well. and may be start a life together.

(Because if I lose another 65 pounds with the previous 60+ pound loss this year. nothing will fit, Nothing all ready fits(too lose allready )[5]Make new freinds and have a social life!! Lapband update # 6

Howdy all. For those folks here who may have read my previous posts on this subject. bear with me. As of October of last year 2007 I was at or around 450 pounds through the next few months I have traveled on the journey to loose my self .Or rather I say loose half of me. Here is a update... as of last Wensday I have lost a rough total of over 70 pounds. The reason is it a rough total is I was so large the doctor's scale was too small I could not get a accurate weight. I figure I was around 440 pounds. Now through Diet, Exersize and the band I have gotten down to 363.4 at the last weighin. For those who are weighing the optiom of having surgury. all I can say that It is not a "majical cure" there are life style changes that must be takin in account. With the lapband you must Chew your food Very, Very well, or risk spending several hours in extreme Discomfort. when the stomach opening gets blocked. One must take their time and eat very slowly. A cheese sandwich that took only a minute to eat, Before the band takes around 20 minutes to eat. You might ask why if all the hassel did I do the lapband All I can say is that now I can see my feet with out leaning out over a vast expanse of belly. Also now I can find clothes that half way fit with out using several acres of fabric to make the garment.Plus when I find the right Lady I might have a chance of catching her if she runs. LOL.

Frugal Holidays

With the Economic uneasiness of the past few months has caused me to ponder many things.I have come to the conclusion .That most of the things"we" get from others at the holidays time is all commercial Hype and you spend way too much time and money getting those things.Only to have them get relegated to the bottom of the closet because the really got tired of it or the refuse bin because it broke only after two days. As some of you know I have been out of work for over a year. Christmas was good last year every one got things , but with a catch I got them things that they really could use. Spending less than 20 dollars each I made up Sewing kits for each of the folks on my list. You get 1 spool of thread in black, white ,tan,green, blue and green. Along with that you get several packages of assorted buttons and a package of needles and a small case to store it in. To make a travel size case get a smaller storage box and use bobbins of thread instead of the larger spools.Or if you can bake something for your friends instead of buying it. Every body has something yummy that they can bake and the cost will be a lot less and those who get the items you bake should be just as happy or more that you actually took the time to personally make something for them.

For those who haven't been keeping up with the news lately Texans and our Cajun neighbors to the east this weekend got slammed hard by Hurricane "IKE" Although ( he) "IKE" was listed as a Category 2 hurricane He was one mile shy of being a Cat.3 hurricane.Where I am I only suffered 1 felled oak tree and a few broken branches on other trees . Although the worst was not having power since 2AM Saturday till Sunday around 10Am .I quess I am lucky no major holes in my body ,(except for where the chainsaw cut through my jeans leg . leaving two shallow, 2 inch cuts in my knee, I now have power so the things that I need are up and running(AIR CONDITIONING!!!) and the well for water. The news outlets are saying that a lot of other areas are still without power. Roughly 1.89 million electric customers ( roughly 4 million people )are without power. So keep them and the relief workers in your prayers.

Lap Band Update# 4

For those who have followed my progress with the lap band success's and upsets. Here is a update.In my last blog Lap band #3. I left off with the doctor not able to find the fill port after 20 times with a 14 gage Needle 4 1/2 long and being wiggled around . the doctor stopped and tells ,me I have to get X-rays to see if the port has flipped over. I went to the local hospital nearby.(All I can say is that they have a nice looking big building and not much else good about this hospital.) Well after 300 dollars of inconclusive X-Rays (I really think the tech was a Student because they had to take about 15 shots and they still could not tell if the port had flipped)Well about 3 weeks later. Friday I Had to set up a Fluoroscope session with the hospital that did the Lap band(different hospital) with in 30 minutes they had the located the band, and the doctor was able to fill it to get the band adjusted. Only problem is I think the doctor may have adjusted it too far in.Today was the first day after the adjustment.It did not go well. For those who have the band know what fun it is when the food gets where it wont go down or up. After 3 hours Finally got relief. after had talked to a man about a BUICK.Now I am feeling a little better. All this because of a piece of food the size of your thumb nail.

Demise of front porches

Recently several events in my life have got me to thinking about front porches. Not the minuscule entry ways that now appear on so many of the cookie cutter homes. But big honking front porches with the suspended swing seat. Where you could watch life go by .Chat to you neighbors.Drink your favorite iced beverage. The one that from her front perch the nosy neighbor could get word to your folks faster than a speeding bullet. Notification to your parents.That you were misbehaving and in to hooliganism.We as a society wonder why crime has risen. I feel it is in part because you don't know who your neighbor are. Because we now run and hide in our air conditioned , socially insulated homes.Having little social interactions with our neighbors. A report in the news recently that police has found a deceased woman(6 months) in her home.Police were called after , because the utilities lines easement had to be cleared and lines upgrades.The repair crews had to notify the home owner's about the impending work.To make a long story short none of her neighbors ever checked up on her. They complained about the tall grass in her yard to others. but none never went to ask if she needed help with the cutting the grass. If they would have had front porches and used them this might have prevented. Because if you know whom your neighbor is.You will be able to figure out if that moving truck parked at your neighbors is really moving them or in the process of robbing them. TO illustrate the point I remember years ago while at collage. I lived in the dorm. I was the type when I heard a noise I'd look out to see what it was .Well the guy next door got upset.Because I had always done this.One day he confronted me(REALLY NASTILY)So I told him OK . I won't.Between the confrontation and next morning he got robbed.He came back crawling and asking. If I had seen anything. I told him no because you were so upset about me seeing who came and went down the halls.I heard noise from his room. But, since the (NICE TALK ) we had had did not check. I guess what I am trying to say is (NO ONE IS AN ISLAND).We all must look after our neighbors. Because, If you don't who will look after you ? When you are in need ? Or when you are away from your home?

Scars that you can't see.

Recently several events have made me ponder this Question. Which does more harm to a person in a relationship. Is it the physical abuse or is it the scars that you can't see unless you really look. The emotional and psychological scars that poison a relationship and a persons spirit. I know from my child hood that the scars on the spirit never really heal, without professional help. I also know that Women who are in a Abusive relationship keep thinking," I can't leave him, no body Will want me". " He says he is sorry and he won't do it again"."Or it was my fault, I made him mad". Or "Nobody else will love me". The reason is that their self esteem has been ground down by the abuser by all the negative snide remarks. "So that they the abused see no other option except to stay and pray the he will change. All I can Say if you suspect abuse stand up for the one who is being abused.Be friend to that person support them any way you can. Tell them you can call at any time for help, a ride out of the home or just some one to talk too. To not help some one that is being abused( or you suspect is being) to me is just as bad as if you were doing it yourself to that person.It Is just WRONG and IMMORAL to not act.The life you save may be one most important things you ever save from destruction.You may save, your's or some Else's sister , brother mother,daughter ,son, father. Yes men can be abused too, So it affects all, genders, Races, Creeds, Nationalities and socio economic backgrounds

Lap Band Update #3

Well I went to the doctor today got great news . Since the last visit. I had lost 12.5 pounds since my surgury. Have 2 Incisions that Qite havent healed,but are a mere minor wounds. compared to what they were 3 weeks ago. Eating normal food now. just have to take eating my foods slow.(I have gone from Mach 6 eating to an Amish buggy) It feeels Great!!

sdlrglady don't let money or the lack of it stand in the way of getting lap band surgery. As for me so It has been the best money I have ever spent( so far). mine has cost me less than 20 thousand for the doctor and hospital cost.That was Cash on the Barrel Head. Is it the perfect answer to being over weight , No but it is a tool to aid one in modifying their behavior to become healthier, It also will take work to exercise to help keep the excess weight off. Before I got off my duff and got real serious about getting healthier my weight was over 450.Through diet and exercise before surgery got down to 407. It has been three weeks , haven't got on a scale but I feel; a lot better.The F5 hunger I had has now been turned into a Harmless hay devil. It has helped, I know that I Must modify the way I think and feel about food.and make positive , healthier choices .

To lap band or not update

As some of you know that I have struggled with the decision to have Lap band surgery or not. Well a update .On June 26 I had the Lap Band surgery. I have observed the following things that have happened since. 1) My chest/ stomach area feels like King Kong used it for a trampoline. My apatite has gone from a Ravenous black hole, to nothing. A 20 once drink that used to take.025 seconds to be gone , now takes almost three hours. Before I could eat three 40 oz bowls of soup at a sitting now If I am lucky 3oz in a hour. I know that this decision is leading me to a better , and hopefully longer life. With a little luck, and a bit of time I'll be able to chase after that special some one and not need a Ambulance standing by.

With the recent cookie cutter shows being made lately TV has been getting boring. the show I'de like to see you take 25 U.S. Congressmen take them to the real streets. Strip them of their cell phones , pda's money and power. Place them in the meanest, most poverty stricken streets that you can find and let them have to stay their for 90 days. On their own with only the resources that the can get by working them selves.Would you not like to see that? the title of the show would "Culture Shock"

Is it just me? Or has any body else noticed that Drivers lately have been getting more aggressive and wreck-less. You are doing the limit and some chowder Head passes you up like you were driving a Amish carriage at the Indie 500. Or you are doing the speed limit and the person following you Tries to park their car in your bonnet. Or even more dangerous the person following you passes you in a no passing zone on blind curvy hill. all the time the are yakking away on the cell phone in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other, while trying to read the newspaper. Come one you Goobers. Where are you going too that is SO important, that you have place your and the lives of others in serious peril? If you knows it takes 15 minutes travel time to get some where don't leave 10 minutes before you are supposed to be there. If it takes 15 minutes to get there leave 5 minutes early. You will be less stressed, the other drivers will be less stressed at you. one should know that there are only 24 hours in a standard Earth day.So If you are from a different planet that has more hours in a day , go back to your home planet. you can't cram 28 hours of work in to a Standard 24 hour Earth day.Slow down,Stop to smell the roses .Sit down on the front porch , kick your shoes off enjoy your favorite Iced beverage. or go visit your neighbors and gossip and watch the Rat race go by. Your Blood pressure will thank you.

Well folks it is official this year looks like it is going in the Porcelain throne.I just totaled my truck.So it seems now like my life has gone from bad to worse.September,I lost my job in,also my daughter was supposed to be in the Homecoming ceremonies every one was coming to see it,20 minutes before the game start the moved up the time. Christmas/New years Bad.Jan.one person I worked with died, and missed his funeral. Feb Got severely stuck. March Got robbed and Blew a job interveiw. ansd now this month. Totaled my truckI am thinking of changing my name to Sleprock( the name of the Gang leader in the teenage flintstones cartoon, who had lots of bad things happen to him.)Oh whell At least I am still breathing.

Don't you just love the feeling after thieves try to make off with the things you have worked very hard for! This week Again in less that 8 years. I have had to revisit the "joyous" Violated feeling that one gets. when all of through things have been gone through. What they did not take they have destroyed.The real bad thing was, that I had to come home on the "Slime ball" loading everything up. I was able to "puruade" him to Exit my garage.I was trying to detain him for the Sheriffs Deputy's, but as the deputy arrived at my house. Dirt bag decides to leave most Haste in the process dumping my lawn mower, welder, new air compressor damaging all of them. not to mention all of the plastic model kits that were either stolen, damaged or the ones that were scattered in a trail about a mile long the bayous and drainage ditches.

With the recent tragic items in the news."Baby Grace" the Father who threw his kids off the bridge over the Mississippi river, the mom who flew to Africa to get married while her kids were left alone, and now the baby murdered in Galveston. I have come to the opinion the world has gone plum loco, nuts, screwball or what ever you want to call it. as a parent How can you throw your kids off a bridge ,just because just because you want to hurt your soon to be Ex- wife.How can you hold your child's head under water for punishment? Or pickup your child and throw them against the wall? How can you leave a16year old,and a 15old in charge of 6 other kids and not provide food and money for them? As a parent I find this VERY disturbing! Is it now,that now a lot of parents must view their kids a burden to them,taking up too much of their free time or as pawn to inflict hurt on your Ex. No your children should come first!You Chose to have sex, so be an adult,take responsibility for your actions and for your kids , Treat them like the Gift they are!! If you cant.It would be better to give them up for adoption, where the would be loved and cared for.

A recent post got me thinking.If you were on a ship and suddenly you had to abandon the ship for an island. the island has fresh water and lots of plant life. and plenty of raw metal ores on it. You had 5 minutes to get all the supplies that have to last you a minimum of 1year. What would you take? One catch. It has to fit in a 5 gallon bucket.Me I'd take:50 needles, Mill file, multi tool,Glock E-tool,100 fishhooks,Kbar,Coast Guard approved Med kit,Cargo chute with shroud lines,spool of 40 test,2 lbs veggie seeds, 12 inch wok,1 Lb bundle of pin stock.25 hacksaw blades,4 super chlorine pool tabs,2 disposable lighters and Machinist Handbook. What would you take?

Have you ever Had one of those days that Murphy pays you a visit and wont leave? Well today was one of those days.My computer Printer dies. Call the Texas Work force( unemployment office) because I haven't received A check yet.(been 6 weeks ) they say they can't find my file.that I have to refile ,and take another 4 weeks to get a check. Had to take my Blind sister to the doctor to get her Meds. had to wait 30 minutes to get the chit filed. Half of the meds not in stock. Have to spent a nother 4 hours tomorrow to get them filled. Plus the other things she needed the store no longer carries ,( because the items did not sell.) she had her huggies in a wad because of that.was later chatting on the site LF chat kept lagging and dropping the connection Later Was doing dishes, Dropped a fillet knife on my foot buried it in the top of my foot.Thanks Murphy for the fine visit you payed me today!

Is it just me.OR has anybody else seem to notice it seems like everybody's job is being lead by a bunch of people Edjmacated beyond intelligence. It seems that some of these folks have collage educations,and many degrees. yet left to their own Devices would starve, because the could not figure out the most commonest task. It seems that the can do attitude Americans bosses of yester years has been replaced with a penny pinching , tightwad , greedy soulless, SSOB's. What has been the down fall of the system has ,in my opinion is and has been greed for the bosses , and pooch the workers attitude.

Well folks, looks like Miss Spears Did it again!!She got busted for being chemically impaired with her kids. As a parent I have to say this troubles me ,not to say I haven't done things in my past, that were not boneheaded.This has to be the most self destructive thing I have seen so far. Well here it is 10;15 Am.I have all ready had enough frustration for to day.Being with out a job and no Money is bad enough. But when the only copy of your resume on floppy disk self terminates.And it takes you 12 hours to reconstruct the file. then you have to post it today by 10;00AM. because it closes at that time. Finally you go to a web site to file a job application. you try since 7:30 and Dead links, OH What FUN!! so at 9:45 a mad dash to a fax machine 10 miles away to send it! I am pooped!! I need a NAP!, an aspirin and a back rub.

Several groups have lobbied to get Large Santa's(fat,and Jolly) replaced with skinny Santa' in the malls.the reason was because the "Bad size being large and fat.because of the poor nutritional" example he (Santa) set by eating ,milk and cookies. the group recommended leaving a "veggie" tray instead.talk about being too PC . Don't you just love having the Neighbors from Hell. I live in a rual part of Haris County Tx.Today I was cleaning up a tree that was stuck by lightning.No Small tree 160 Feet tall and 5 ft at the base. was taking care of the debris like I all ways do on the farm Pile it up and put a match to it . well here come the Nosy ,Whiney neighbors, the called the fire dept. and called the cops said ( (This is the same neighbor that called the cops because Had weeds waist high .Remember I live in a rual site not in a subdivision) I was tring to burn down their house.Ever since they mooved in nothing but problems with them. Golf ball hitting the windows. Soccer , baseballs , tennis balls in the grass in my yard. Arrows hitting and sticking in to the roof.So I cal the county to get a permit to burn the loggin bebris left from the tree The goverment beurocrats at TEQ tell me I cant burn the tree debris . so I call the state forest commision TFS says I can if it ia Agucultural or timber Debris you can.sounds like one hand dont know what is going on. The cant both be Right ,or wrong Goverment Ninnye and Sphinchter Neighbors Dont you just love it!!

Person (B) chats to (A). the next day after only 1 im message Person (A) says they must to take a call.Person (B)lets Person(A)go. B checks their email and winks sees (A) on line and chatting.(B) sends (A) an email thanking them and wishing them a great weekend.(B) gets no response from the Email Next day (B) see's(A) chatting (B) sends (A)a nother im. (A) promptly logs off the site. Would it have been better to be HONEST,and Truthful and told (B) that It was not going to work out on the first Im. Or Just lead (B) on? IWich is better ?
