And you guys better come up with some damn good reasons too. Money, material things and for some, presumed sexual prowess, does not count. Dime a dozen. Now I know most will have reasons that would make a woman consider him. And for some, perhaps not...???

Re: butterbll write: As for me I want to get married again, but this time I have to think it through with the right brain. My partner , who ever she may be.Together we must explore our things that will cause friction, and we together must find ways to resolve them together.together we must lose our respective emotional baggage.

Always good to take your time and really think about what it is you wish from life and a future partner. Communication is key.

Re: OK72076 write: No one in their right mind would marry most of us guys. And, as a dwm, 46, bhm, I DON"T want to get married after getting burned once after 10 years of marriage, even if it was 5.5 years ago. Now, shacking up is a different thing... just have a well defined break down of rent and bills so you avoid Judge Joe Brown, etc

No offense my friend, but you sound quite bitter. Could your attitude as displayed in this blog be why women are afraid to meet you? Many women DO want to be married. When they know this is not an option for you they may pass you by. We aren't ALL your ex- honey.

Petersh55, I've chatted with a number of men from the UK, not all I must say, a few asked me my bra size. The question was not answered and the chap was put on ignore. It happens in all walks of life I suppose. Nisi32132 Re: Petersh55 write: Well I`ve heard that American Men are supposed to be Brave , Courageous , and Bold , but I would say that asking a Lady her Bra size is going rather far and something that us English Men would never ever think of asking and something that I have never done or intend doing . Bless you Petersh55

HA, I have had men from all many different countries ask me that very same question...as Jan said (in a sense), they come in all shapes, colors, sizes and nationalities...*wink*. But it is always good to know there are a select few that remember how to behave in polite society.

Re: busybusy write: Not trying to be judgemental. But it sounds as if you've been burned, and bad. I have been. (I'm a guy) You want us to tell you why YOU should marry? Why a woman EVER should marry? Not sure what you're looking for. .... Good luck.

Oh no, in actuality this blog was a bit of a sarcastic response to another one posted asking "women...why should we marry you?". Now that one is a bit on the bitter side. Although it probably isn't that obvious now since some time has passed since each blog was posted. I have to say, my hubby and I had a wonderful relationship. He made me laugh, was intelligent, fun and more. We had our moments but they were rare and usually about the kids. He died about 2 years ago so my being single was, as some might say, a twist of fate. And some might consider that being burned, I look at it as just another leg of my life's journey. And yes, I do need a new picture. The last round of photos I took weren't the greatest and I haven't had time nor interest lately to change it.
