This is an update.I wrote a story about a week or a week 1/2 ago about the 10 commandments for a owners pet.HOW A LITTLE JACK RUSSEL DOG (GIRL)showed up at my door step that was severely beaten,starved,and shoot with a paint gun.I then rushed her to my vets office which was 15 minutes from my house hopping to get her some help. I have bin going every day after work to the vets to see how she was doing and watching her fighting with all her heart to hold on .... I even named her precious because that is what she was to me .Today at work i received a call from the vets wanting me to come by before i went home ...so i did .when i walked in i could feel the vibe that it was not good and my feelings were right everybody at the office knows me and my family very well due to all the dogs we have.Tears were flowing down the faces of the workers as they came to me to let me know that precious had died and her little heart had given up.AT that moment my heart had broken to a 1000 pieces and tears started flowing down my face ...i was going to give her a loving home with me and my other dogs but now all i have is the memory of her in my heart that will forever be .You KNOW WHEN YOU SPELL DOG BACK WORDS YOU HAVE GOD!and now i hope her little soul is at rest and knowing the lord is protecting her from any more sorrow or pain .And i hope precious knew how much i loved her and how much she meant to me in my life and will always have a piece of my heart.. this has bin very hard to write without shedding a tear and i wanted to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the love,prayers,and the responses on my blog you guys have bin a rock for me .And with this i want to say THANK YOU HUGS AND KISSES... So tragic. At least you know in your heart that you did what you could to save that little life. I know that I can speak for all when I say that we were all pulling for her. Just breaks my heart.

"Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

My thoughts are with you. Precious died knowing she was loved, there was a reason that she was on your doorstep when she needed help. You are an angel.
Ooooh Wendy....I am so sorry ! My heart goes out to you ! You are such a beautiful and caring person, at least that little dog went to heaven knowing what being loved by someone like you was, if even for a short time. You are an angel to think and act so unselfishly. I know nothing I can say will ease the pain, but I wish your heart peace....

I am certain Precious held a picture of you in her mind's eye as she fought for her life. Think of her loyalty and know that she fought for YOU.
