I have read some really great blogs here but how many people participate or even read them.
I think blogging is a really great way to get to know a person and what a person likes and dislikes.
This topic may have been covered before.
What do you think???????

I agree with Oz. With close to 2500 views on my blogs, I think that there are mnay, many people out there that long to see who thinks what. I, too, wish theyw ould all contribute more to the blogs.

Personally, I don't care about what is a post and what is a blog. I call it blogging, since this part of the site is the "blogs"! Whatever, to each his own.

Happy Blogging!--True

Agree Turkey 512, there are some great blogs on here.

I have gained a lot from them and the people that take the time to share and comment.

It does show you that little bit more about a person and that is a great opportunity in the cold world of internet dating.  I have been lucky to make some great friends here and even had romance bloom.  :)

There are a lot of people that do read the the blogs, I have had over 1800 visitors to my blogs, just wish more would also post comments.

Glad you have joined in always good to have new poeple here. :)

Quoting lawsy58:

I'm going to split hairs here.
I'm not absolutely sure what the difference is between blogging and chat board posting, but I suspect what¿most of us are¿doing here is something short of blogging.
Blogging entails formulating and presenting opinions in well-supported detail, or at least sharing nuanced, ironic or poignant experiences where one can mine nuggets of universal truths or life lessons.¿ In many ways, blogging is sort of a masturbatory exercise where outside commentary can be perceived to be, in a way, intrusive.
What most of us are doing here¿is nothing more than¿carrying on round table discussions of topics that one of us will occasionally toss in the middle.¿ It's actually more like a Support Group where family-style advice and/or support can be handed out along with cookies and Kool-Aid.
I'm afraid that not too many people actually participate in this "blogging" exercise, but there are a loyal few and those that do do it with considerable thought and talent.
I'd actually like to see more diversity in topics: TV, movies, American Idol (go Adam go), gardening, food & wine, books, music, parenting, fashion, pets, celebrity gossip (why can't Jennifer Aniston hold onto a boyfriend? and Why can't I stop thinking about¿Salma Hayek?).¿
I know that this is a BBW/BHM website (and those that love them), but¿let's¿unbutton the top button (and maybe one more after that), pour ourselves a glass of wine¿(and one more after that), and do some SERIOUS talking.

Now I do have to agree with you in that what we do here is not blog in the corect form that blogging it mean to be employed.

When I got on this site this is how this was done and I did wonder what the difference was compared to the forums, but hey this is how it is done here, so I joined in. :)

There are so many blogs here on so many different topics that it is impossible to keep up with them. Due to the design here they can not even be sorted and viewed in an easy way, so many great blogs are lost in the numbers.

Now in regards to introducing other topics here, well there is nothing stopping anyone from choosing any of these topics, though I fail to see how the topics you mention here would entice serious talking? LOL :)

Life is only as wonderful as you think it is.

I'm not sure about YOU guys, but I've never experienced a "masturbatory exercise" while typing.

Am I doing it wrong?!?
