Try Juliet from Romeo and Juliet. No other character experiences such tragedy.
I'm sorry you're down today though. Here's a ((((Big Hug))))

Yeah. I'm having a blue day.

Me too Amy! hehe It's hard for me to pick a favorite seen when I like of them (the ones where Danielle and Henry were together). The jypsy camp was cool, I also like the scene in the throne room where the the evil step-mother and sister were shamed. I also like the ending scene which was really sweet where Leonardo presents the painting. My favorite quote from the movie is where Danielle says, "Sir you have discovered my weakness but I have yet to learn yours..." and Henry replies, "Well I think it should quite obvious."
Yes, you're definitely right about Danielle and I do think I have a similar personality. I'm old-fashioned and sometimes that's a problem in today's world. I've always imagined (especially when I was a young girl) that I would have fit in better in a similar time period to this movie...maybe that's why I like it so much. But I wouldn't trade the modern conveniences for the world. lol Thank goodness for modern-day plumbing! LMAO
My christmas dress is a similar style (empire waist) to these gowns and I certainly feel like a princess in it. Now I just need a prince to meet at the "ball".
Thanks for the giggles. :)

I LOVE that movie. Of course, my favorite part is when Danielle and Henry are in the cave after having been accosted by the gypsies and he says "It is your mouth that has me hypnotized . . . " OMG *MELT*
Danielle was _spunky_ (to use an old fashioned term) wasn't she? And smart and resourceful while still caring.
I hope you have the same happy ending!
Amy

Strong choices! I have to say, although the history in 300 was . . . let's say "streamlined" . . . the movie makers did get the idea of POWER across along with some very tempting visuals. Wow! You are going to be kicking butt (no doubt as necessary) with that model in mind!

Well this is a tough one for me. After much consideration I'm going to have to choose Danielle from the movie Ever After.
She's had a hard life early on but that helped make her who she is. She's smart, strong, well read, loving, loyal, wants to do the right thing, often over-looked and misunderstood. Deep down she just wants to be loved and accepted for who she is, nothing more nothing less. She doesn't always see herself as beautiful and her confidence comes when she's tired of the BS around her. Most importantly she meets her match, Henry.
I'm still waiting for mine.
I think that about sums it up. There's always more but I think I made my point.

I love Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh. I think I sort of resemble him in a way. He is faithful, shy, listens and contemplates. He is always shocked when something good happens to him and doesn't have an ego or inflated attitude. He is very dedicated and loyal to his friends and always helps out. He is mellow and stable.

I have to chose from "Are you afraid of the dark?" - Richard B Riddick (Pitch Black)
or
"This is SPARTA!" - King Leonigous (mispelled) I really could have been a Spartan worman. "Only Spartan women give birth to real men" You have to love that line.
Love this topic.
