Bora, Bora, French Polynesia. It's beautiful, remote and in November quite deserted.

Shreds? I would never use mere shreds...but I will be generous and allow you a glass of wine or two. Or three or four...LOL

Re: LegalEagle224 write: Oh I love the cold. It's constantly hot here in Florida (with the exception of very short period in February). I'm not sure I'd want to live somewhere that gets a lot of snow but I'd be willing to give it a try. Besides, there are other ways to keep warm :) hehe Re: bluegirl2006 write: Beautiful. Re: LegalEagle224 write: I'd love to see the seasons change and actually experience a white Christmas, but I don't know about the ice.

I do love a white Christmas. But the rest of winter I could really leave behind, although I love autumn and spring. Ideally I would like to be a "snow-bird". Someone who spends November to April somewhere warm like Florida, and May through October here. Popping in for a week or so at Christmas of course. Ahh what bliss that would be.

Good points Stacey and Blue. That's exactly what I'm afraid of (long-term). I'd love to see the seasons change and actually experience a white Christmas, but I don't know about the ice. I got caught in Atlanta about 10 years ago when everything iced over. There was very little snow and it was scary how fast it all turned to ice. I almost wrecked on an overpass since it was on an incline and there was no way to stop...just slide. Cars were sliding into each other left and right. I was just happy to make it to the airport in one piece and not one dent on the car. LOL OK, so maybe I'll re-think this. I've got 10 days off from work around Christmas, maybe I'll just go and visit a friend. hehe

Good point. ;) But when you live somewhere where it seems like we have 5 or 6 months of winter along with the annoying slick roads and snow removal issues you might change your mind. Now if I could spend all my time "keeping warm" that would be another story. Ahhhhh.

I love the cold also. Here in Kansas we have four definate seasons and fall and winter are my favorites. I love the snow. It is so refreshing and beautiful. But I don't like the ice and it usually comes with it. I am not good driving on ice. Ask my mechanic. lol
