Call it the power of the full moon. Associate the Christian gift given to us as per the Easter celebration. Whatever was the main influence this weekend, all thanks forward as I have had quite the string of positives happening.

Thursday was a night of impromptu socializing with friends. One call, one reach out from my own shell, produced a great evening of fun and laughter. I found my way into the local social underground. People don't go to bars anymore in my little town, they cluster at homes where there's more freedoms and it's more economical I suppose. Happy to be part of that network now.
Friday, I was given the opportunity to help a buddy understand some of the tick offs that come with living with his mother (she is older and he is there as a support... good son, more family members need to look after their aging ones if able). Working with the elderly, I was able to translate some of her 'antics' into reasoning. We laughed and he swore me to 'mum's the word' so that's all there.
Saturday, with no plans on the calendar I was so pleased that a girlfriend calls saying there's an extra ticket to be had to go see Dirty Dancing on stage in Toronto. When I heard this is being a sponsored trip by one of her friends, well I could have fallen on the floor. A night out with ride, dinner, theatre and good company... I do have the luck of the Irish afterall!
Easter Sunday, while my grandmother -- the reason for holding Easter dinner in the first place -- was unfortunately ill, her place at the table was soon filled with the arrival of two friends that have no family close by to spend the holiday with. Less left-overs and we got to play cards as well. Life is good!
Now, as I write this, I am also chatting online with a person I have never met and am sharing great ideas and dialogue... We may not change the world tonight but through word there may come deed.
