Life's lesson No. 1 There once was a bunch of tiny frogs,... ... who arranged a running competition. The goal was to reach the top of a very high tower. A big crowd had gathered around the tower to see the race and cheer on the contestants... The race began... Honestly: No one in crowd really believed that the tiny frogs would reach the top of the tower. You heard statements such as: "Oh, WAY too difficult!!" "They will NEVER make it to the top." or: "Not a chance that they will succeed. The tower is too high!" The tiny frogs began collapsing. One by one... ... Except for those who in a fresh tempo were climbing higher and higher... The crowd continued to yell "It is too difficult!!! No one will make it!" More tiny frogs got tired and gave up... ...But ONE continued higher and higher and higher... This one wouldn't give up! At the end everyone else had given up climbing the tower. Except for the one tiny frog who after a big effort was the only one who reached the top! THEN all of the other tiny frogs naturally wanted to know how this one frog managed to do it? A contestant asked the tiny frog how the one who succeeded had found the strength to reach the goal? It turned out... That the winner was DEAF!!!! The wisdom of this story is: Never listen to other people's tendencies to be negative or pessimistic... ...cause they take your most wonderful dreams and wishes away from you. The ones you have in your heart! Always think of the power words have. Because everything you hear and read will affect your actions! Therefore: ALWAYS be... POSITIVE! And above all: Be DEAF when people tell YOU that YOU can not fulfil YOUR dreams! Always think: I can do this! So my advice No drama - surround yourself with people who will encourage and inspi...

Re: nodramaaroundme write: Stacey, I leave for a few days and you take that beautiful new picture down. :( And Nisi(Nat) wow I love your new one. Thanks again everyone for the hugs and prayers, I know it's what helped me make it to Saturday.

Thank you that is so nice of you. I wish there was a way to hide your profile but leave the photo up. I forget what people look like and can't always remember them by their names.

Hey NoDrama, congrats on being back at work and for your ankle being almost back to 100%. I too am heading back to the work force after being out since last year with my leg issue I am 95.5% healed myself. I have to start all over looking for a new job, which is great, but it gives me a chance to meet new people and start a new adventure. The interview process has been and very interesting, lots of work, but I am blessed that my leg is healed and I am able to go out and look for a job. You fake it until you make it...you tell yourself all the positive things you need to hear until it just happens. You think and say positive things as much as you need to regardless of what is going on around you. You repeat it over and over and over and over again. YOU don't get caught up in other folks negative thoughts or comments. If folks around you start talking negatively, you either ask them to move on or remove yourself from the situation. If someone makes a comment about your working condition being in 'exile' you put a positive spin on it; you say how much you love the peaceful feeling. Whenever someone says something negative you turn it around with a positive response. The more positive things you surround yourself with the better for you. Remember we go through tough times, we don't set up house and stay. We go through...I can see that light at the end of the tunnel for you. Sending prays your way; Prayers of joy, happiness and God's mercy and favor. Hang in there babe!

Some times I have to have a theme song in my head, like the Locomotion, or Honkey tonk woman, when I start to feel sad I belt out songs. It really helps....HUGGS

Thank you all, it was hard but I survived my first week back. It was hard to find a rainbow within the storming clouds but I did. A lot of others that I have worked with during the years discovered that I was back and came to visit me and reminded me that not all the people see me the way "my team" does. Sometimes I lose focus and I just have to go ahead and admit that I'm sad but it's always nice to see who your friends are to rally behind you had point me in the right direction. Stacey, I leave for a few days and you take that beautiful new picture down. :( And Nisi(Nat) wow I love your new one. Thanks again everyone for the hugs and prayers, I know it's what helped me make it to Saturday.

NoDrama - I hope things are going better for you. We go through all things for a reason, just keep that in mind. And sometimes it seems the reason is just to prove that 'this too shall pass'. Take care!

I do like everyone else does, Nodrama, I fake it. Try to keep a positive outlook and hopefully via power of the mind happiness will become a more natural state of being rather than forced or farced. Sorry, not in a very good mood today. Sorry you are in such a hellish atmosphere at work, I really don't know how you go into it under your own power. I don't think I'd have the spine to do it.

In your rocking-chair, by your window dreaming, shall you long, alone. In your rocking-chair, by your window, shall you dream such happiness as you may never feel. –Theodore Dreiser

Sometimes a major change is a time to look back at the past, learn from it and then see how many changes there really are today. Then figure out which ones fit into your life and which ones don't fit. Time to turn a corner and try. Staying positive will find it's own level in your heart and mind. I've learned to focus on the newness of things to see how them feel. When I moved from NJ to Florida, everything was new. The area, the people, the culture. I'm sure you're fabulous attitude will attract new friends with similar attitudes of positive thinking. Focus on you, focus on maintaining what's comfortable to you. The negatives are always around us, they don't go away. I try to not "feed" them with energy. I try hard to "feed" my positive side with the energy of thought and actions. I know you can do this, you're a very strong women with a fabulous out look on life ! Hugs Nat32132
