Thanks Stacey,

So far we are doing well on the email thing, he works two jobs now so time is the issue for us to meet. I think the email thing is working for discovery though, we chat about everyday things. Giving me insight into who he is.

I'm really looking forward to meeting him by next weekend though. It's really only been a week yesterday, but feels like months. Silly huh?

Good luck with your new guy. I hope it works out for you.

I have a guy that he and I email around 30-40 times a day and I think it is a great way to start a beginning.

Let us know how things go for you!

As much as I complain about having to go through the whole "meet someone new" process, I do like beginnings. The start of something new always is interesting to me. But the middle is the best part. The comfort in familiarity but also the ability to make it new as well. There are times when it feels like it can last forever. As for endings, I've had my share of those. One unexpected, most amicable but even those can be difficult.

I see I'm not alone in the beginning - middle - end scenarios.

I'm about to have another beginning. Not sure when it will be but we have agreed to meet. The time has not been set. I'm really impressed with this guy. He is impressed with me too ;-D

I think that's a good beginning.

Now I want to know if a week of emailing - almost 20 a day, is a decent beginning or does it start when we actually meet face to face?

Thanks

I get tired of the beginnings sometimes and just don't. And then other times I worry that trying to keep the beginings all juggled may take away from a single juicy middle that might be where I should be putting my energy. I hope to settle on a middle to put focus on soon. Then I will stop getting anything else started. As for endings? I do this okay most of the time.

Whew! Good question. The beginnings are usually the hardest for me. In fact, almost messed up a really good beginning recently. I meant well but the execution wasn't so good. Now I think I'm just starting the middle (hopefully) and so far so good.

The endings are never pleasant but I do try to make them as graceful as possible. Just keep trying. :)

Middle is a muddle for me as well.
Have no trouble having the beginnings and too soon end up at the "ending". This does not make for a good story but I guess you have to kiss a lot of toads to find your prince so hopefully the middle will show it itself as the relationship develops into something longer and stronger.

I do like the middle of the oreo cookies as well. (lol)
