I think I shared too many of my frustrations at work this week. The team doesn't seem too concerned with anything except pointing fingers and avoiding the firing finger. As much as I love what I do, I think it's time to start looking for something else before the fickle firing finger lands on me. What's the job market *reallllly* looking like out there?

the best thing to have on a resume is a work phone number.  Keep being professional while you are still there and try to avoid the blame game, yet at the same time, there are occasions where it is okay to admit that you stuffed up, but choose those occassions carefully,

Also at interviews, some employers ask what you are doing at the moment.  The trick here is NOT to say that you are doing nothing.  Say that you are doing something to keep busy even if it is looking after nephew and neices (that one earns brownie points with female interviewers), volunteering anywhere.

Well, here... it's terrible. :( Good luck.

In your rocking-chair, by your window dreaming, shall you long, alone. In your rocking-chair, by your window, shall you dream such happiness as you may never feel. –Theodore Dreiser
