I received this as a text yesterday, and found it to be so impactful I knew I had to share it with all my SisterFriends:

"Never make a man a priority when he only makes you an option!!"

I was totally blown away when I really sat down to think about this because I was going through another disappointment in a relationship. I'm not sure about any others here, but I'm not the type of woman to accept being an option, and thus I often find myself alone. I believe that life is too short to sit back and wait on something to happen, so I often make it happen myself. Yeah, I'd love to be in a loving relationship with a man that loves and respects me, but I REFUSE to be taken for granted. I don't know where some people get it that all BBW are so lonesome and desperate for attention that they'll let any man do anything to them, but I simply am not the one!! Whoa, didn't mean to rant like that, but I had to get that off my chest. Anyway, SisterFriends, I sure hope you enjoy my 2009 Mantra and please feel free to share it with all your SisterFriends!!

"Do you as only you do!!"

WOW, I LOVE this saying and I am going to adopt this as my mantra also!! I actually used this today when I was talking to my daughter about not hearing from a new friend after I told her that I told him to contact me when he had time for me in his life, and she thought I was being MEAN. I told her, that I will not make anyone a priority if I was only an option in his life, and it felt GOOD to say it and know that I meant it!!

Beautiful pics, girls! Love, Love, LOVE that sweater, JustMe! LOVE IT!!!

And you are right! I learned my lesson the hard way. The fifteen-year-long-bad-marraige-hard-way. I will never again be taken for granted. I will speak up. I will make my needs known. I WILL be the woman I know I can be...I deserve it!

Love to the ladies...True

JustBeingMeinKY

This come back to a blog I wrote last year about self worth.

Knowing you are worth more then being an option in his book is good. It shows you know your own value... and I'm always, always, ALL for it.

For some reason womens lib got warpped and now there are more women with low self esteem then ever before. Know your value, your worth.. know it for yourself.
