My New Year's Resolutions for 2009 are to quit smoking and to speak more assertively. I am tired of wheezing when I walk up the 21 stairs to my third floor apartment. I am also tired of biting my tongue for fear of offending someone when I am asked for my opinion.

Happy New Year to everyone!!

My ONE goal this year is to take care of myself better. I have neglected myself for so long that I have forgotten what it is like to be a little pampered. I spend so much time working my booty off to make sure my children are provided for. In doing that, I don't have the schedule or resources to go back to school or have any "me" time. This year, my goal is to adjust my schedule so I can go back to school and dedicate a little "me" time a few times a week, even if only thirty minutes or so. After two years of fighting in court to get what is rightfully mine, I certainly deserve it! Good luck to all who make these "resolutions"... --True
