My daughter and I got our first tattoos on her 18th birthday. We are going March 14th for our 2nd tattoo each on her 24th birthday. She is getting a whole new one, where as I am just having a little something added to my old one. I cannot believe I am gonna do it again. YIKES!!! I am certain that my dear mother is spinning in her grave. :o

Great tattoo! My brother is a Marine in Iraq and will be back in the states next week (yeah!) and when he gets home we are going together to get tattoos. I got my first one last fall and it surprisingly didn't hurt as much as I thought it would.

Hey, lougenesis, if you want one, just go get one, it really isn't all that painful unless you are getting one with a lot of bright color and over a wide area. This one is pretty big as it goes from one side of my arm to the other and it really wasn't that bad. I promise! I wasn't too sure about the dark shading at first, but I gave the tattoo artist artistic freedom and said "just make it pretty" and I am glad I did. Their names look so pretty on my arm! Thanks again guys.
