Ok, so I've joined this site after being in a relationship for 5 years - so it's a little scary coming back to dating but hell, I'm a guy who can't say no to the thought of a cuddle :)
Anyway, I've written up my profile and I keep looking at it thinking it's rubbish and wanting to start from scratch, but if I did, would it be any better than the one I created originally.
I'm trained as a journalist and should be able to write about myself in 4000 characters or less, but what approach do I take?¿ Do I try the funny approach and start quoting lines from Monty Python or go for the serious straight profile and run the risk of coming across as a humourless jerk who has a rain¿cloud over his head?
Now I'm not saying this keeps me up awake at night - but it's something that I do think about on the train in the morning .
Help me out here?¿ What's the best approach to writing a profile ????
