2009 Here I come!

My friends and I all agree that 2009 is definitely going to rock! The break ups, layoffs, financial problems of '08 are done and gone. I personally am looking forward to the new year and everything it holds.
I have two jobs I enjoy...though I admit I enjoy the newest job the most, I am coming to the end of my graduate program, and I am finally settled into my new apartment.
I have a nice rhythm going and I look forward to adding someone special to my life. So here I go...one foot in front of the other into the new year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR, Everyone!

"Tis better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all"....Well, I have found that never loving at all is not all that great. I have spent so much time and energy striving for my career...I seem to have forgotten to fall in love.
I'm not sure love can be found in an instant...but I do believe that when it's right..it's right. Love takes time to build and the foundation of friendship must be laid before love can be built.
I will be honest and admit that for a long time,due to witnessing the broken relationships within my family, I was afraid to make myself vulnerable. However, I have come to a point in my life where I am open to the possibility of meeting someone special.
I am a busy person. I work two jobs (52 hrs/wk) and go to school in the evenings. As a result of this I must plan my schedule carefully.
I am just getting my feet wet and am looking for someone who will meet me halfway and accept that I do have goals and plans for the future.
So here begins my journey....let's see where it leads...
